You are in the heart of Provence. The Provence of Luberon and the high perched villages, of Mont-Ventoux and lavender fields, the one with Avignon as a capital city, classified at the UNESCO world heritage, the one also with festivals, colourful markets, truffle and olive oil, delicious baked bread…

 

 

It is in this authentic Provence that Director Riddley Scott choose to direct his latest film released end of 2006 “A good year”, adapted from the Peter Mayle book. It is not surprising that Vaucluse has been chosen as the location for the movie as it is a well known factor that both Peter Mayle and Ridley Scott particularly enjoy this area for its “art de vivre” and its landscapes, and that both own a house there.
