poitevin. Running along the coast, across the islands or along
the river banks, there are cycle paths and cycle tracks, waiting
just for you.
Are you looking for a longer trip, suitable for you and your
friends? Fans of cycle touring will find plenty to please on the
routes running through the villages of Poitou-Charentes such as
Angles-sur-l’Anglin or Charroux.
Of course, you may prefer mountain biking, a great way of
tearing down the hillsides in the bucolic valleys of
Charente-Limousine or through the forests of maritime pines in
the Royan area. If so, head for one of the accredited mountain
bike centres (“Centres VTT”) where you will find everything you
